Delivery Policy
The cost of delivering to a particular area will be revealed when you choose this area. We may be able to deliver outside the areas available on our website. If you are outside of the areas shown on our website, please contact us to see if we can help you out.
If we are unable to provide your delivery due to adverse weather, vehicle failure, illness or any other factor, we will inform you of this at the earliest possible opportunity and provide a full refund by credit note which can be used within a 6 month period. Delivery times can be arranged during the booking process.
Please ensure that there is adequate space for our products, that the location our products will be sited is accessible, and that you have cleared the area of mess and debris. We will be unable to provide a refund if we cannot deliver your product due to a lack of space or accessibility or due to an inappropriate location.
Booking Process
All customers will receive a booking confirmation by email within 24 hours of placing your hire. This will detail your hire agreement and all your specific requirements. If you do not receive this within 24 hours please get back in contact and let us know so it can be reprocessed. This confirmation must be read by the customer and you must advise us of any amendments or further changes before your hire commences. We cannot be held responsible for any omitted details once your hire begins.
Payment Terms
Deposit payments are deduced from the total amount due. If you cancel your booking then the full payment is non-refundable. If Simply Events cancel due to weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances then your deposit will be given a 6 month credit to use on any future hire.
Our payment system securely stores your card details on file. This feature allows our business to collect any final or outstanding balances up to 5 days before your booking as required. Square card-on-file also allows us to charge for any loss, damage, extra requests or accessive cleaning costs to our equipment.
You will be notified in advance before any charges are taken, and you can request to have your payment details removed after your booking is complete.
Please note card transaction fees cannot be refunded for any reason by the card payment provider and any card refunds made will have the card fees deducated.

Terms and Conditions of Self Hire Costumes
- Booking is only confirmed with a cleared payment of 100% of the final fee. This is non refundable deposit should you cancel.
- A booking is securing your hire of the costume. If, for reasons outwith our control, we cannot provide the client with the costume a full refund will take place. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or expenses incurred if the costume cannot be supplied.
- All prices quoted reflect the detail given at the time of booking, however if you change the time, location or number of children please be aware a change in fee could take effect.
- All parties and events booked will need to be confirmed by written confirmation by the client, either by email or hand written post, to ensure all details are correct and a confirmation and acceptance email or letter sent.
- Please do not let older children or teenagers to 'harass' the costumes. This spoils it for the younger ones and also can be dangerous and damage the costumes. Also please ensure children are not allowed to have drinks/food/paint or any other substance that could lead to stains or damage to the costume.
- We cannot be held responsible for any injuries or damage that is incurred while wearing a costume. The client is responsible to try and prevent any injuries or damage to the costume.
- The company reserve the right to charge additional fees if the costume becomes damaged during the clients hire.
- No smoking/naked flames should be near, or in the same room, as any of our costumes. This also applies when storing or travelling with the costumes.
- No sticky sweets or ice creams etc should come into contact with the costumes. Please ensure they are returned in the same condition as you received them or you will be liable to additional charges if they are damaged.
- The costume must not be worn when in direct contact with any wet conditions including weather.
- Please ensure you pack up the box properly ensuring all the components of the costume are out back in. Any lost or unreturned items will result in further charges incurred.
- For collection and dropping off the costume please make sure you are available at the time agreed as additional charges are likely for late returns.
- The costume should be returned in the box given, in the same condition as received, to keep the costume secure.
Terms and Conditions of Manned Costume Hire

- All our staff will be treated with respect on the day and allowed a safe and private place to get into costume. A member of staff inside a costume may require a 5 minute break per half hour to get a drink to avoid over-heating.
- Please do not let older children or teenagers to 'harass' the costumes. This spoils it for the younger ones and also can be dangerous and damage the costumes. Also please ensure children are not allowed to have drinks/food/paint or any other substance that could lead to stains or damage to the costume.
- We cannot be held responsible for any injuries or damage that is incurred while wearing a costume. The client is responsible to try and prevent any injuries or damage to the costume.

- Please ensure there is a nearby parking space for our staff as the costumes and equipment is big and bulky.
Terms and Conditions of Inflatable Hire
- No food or drinks or gum to be allowed on or near the inflatable which will avoid choking and damage (Please note if the Inflatable is collected in a dirty condition or damaged then the person hiring it will incur a cleaning and, or repairing charge)
- All footwear, glasses, jewellery, badges MUST be removed before using the inflatable
- No face paints, party poppers, streamers, silly string or ink based products to be used either on or near the inflatable.
- No smoking or cooking equipment near the inflatable.
- Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is extremely dangerous and under no circumstances should this be allowed.
- A responsible Adult must supervise the inflatable at all times. Alcohol or any other substance is forbidden whilst using or supervising the inflatable.
- Make sure that the inflatable is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age and size of the individuals using it. Try to avoid large and small Children from using it at the same time.
- Prevent Horseplay, Please ensure Children are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others. Somersaults are strictly forbidden as these are very dangerous on this type of equipment.
- If the inflatable is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower off at the mains.
- Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a Child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to assist users in getting on or off.
- It is essential to ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the inflatable and also any Child who is feeling unwell.
- Do not allow anyone to be on the inflatable during inflation or deflation as this is dangerous.
- No pets, toys or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the inflatable.
- Please ensure that Children are not attempting somersaults and are clothed appropriately and that nothing can fall out of their pockets.
- Ensure that an area of 6 feet (2 metres) around the unit is completely clear. The blower should be at least 1 metre away from the inflatable.
- The inflatable should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the unit should not be used.
- In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the inflatable be switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel. The inflatable should also not be operated in high winds.
- In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately.
- In the event that the blower overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, and it should restart. If it does not, inform us straight away.
